1#. Senior iPhone/Android Developer - Platform, Web and Mobile (Tel-Aviv)

We're looking for all-rounder developer with proven experience in getting things done. Face.com is offering you the opportunity to do amazing work and gain learning experience at one of the hottest innovative startups around.

You can be part of an elite engineering team and have the chance to develop world-class iPhone and Android apps, that leverage our real-time face recognition platform. Part of your work will also include helping to make the platform better and richer.

As a platform team member you will have to be super versatile and have multi-platform skills, quick learning ability, desire to do get dirty, explore new API's and technologies, and build applications, APIs, SDKs and infrastructures from scratch, quickly and independently.

Skills and requirements:

  • Significant experience in Mobile (iPhone/Android) application development  (deployed to app store)
  • Proven experience in infrastructure development and complex problem solving 
  • Team player, autodidact and self-motivated with excellent communication skills

Advantage:

  • Experience in Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML and client-side development
  • Strong understanding of social applications, virility, gaming and web 2.0 trends
  • Being a hacker is a big advantage
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science / Eng or Alumni of IDF Elite technology units

 

#2. Research Scientist (Tel-Aviv)

  • Ph.d / M.Sc in Computer Science with relevant publications in computer vision and machine learning.
  • Literature proficiency in view geometry, object detection, object recognition, video analysis, computer graphics.
  • Several years of  C/C++ programming on several platforms, including linux.
  • Team player in a dynamic start-up environment.
  • Advantage: Experience in large scale machine learning projects including databases.
